Highlights of my chess career:

• In August 2021, I won the Meritorious Services Award from the United States Chess Federation.


• Gained about 450 USCF rating points in less than four months, from 1117 to approximately 1550, after winning and doing well in local tournaments.


• In New Zealand, I defeated the New Zealand women’s chess champion in a 2004 tournament game. The second tournament game was a draw.

• Defeated and drawn various expert and master players (rated 2000-2300). In November 2024, I drew a Woman Grandmaster (WGM) and a Woman International Master (WIM) in a FIDE blitz tournament.


• In November 2024, I beat a Woman Grandmaster Master (WGM) in a FIDE tournament in the Dominican Republic. See the game here. You need to scroll down a bit to see my game.


• Drew (a tie) against Peter Thiel, a billionaire and master chess player in a 2003 tournament game.
