June 2025 Online Blitz Chess ARENA Tournament
Play in my very first FREE June 2025 online blitz chess ARENA tournament
First place winner gets a $10 Amazon gift card
The tournament is on Saturday, June 28, at 10AM PST (1 PM Eastern Time).
Details:
- Free to enter
- Open to players rated 100-2199 on chess.com who have played a minimum of ten games
- I have listened to feedback from players who have played in my past tournaments. And they suggested to host an arena tournament instead of a tournament that has rounds. Therefore, this is my very first time hosting an arena tournament. That means players compete to earn as many points as possible within one hour. There are no rounds in an Arena Tournament—players are paired continuously until the 1 hour timer runs out.
- My tournament has a blitz time control of 3 minutes + 2 seconds increment
- Winner takes home a $10 USD Amazon gift card
- This is NOT a USCF rated event

- For easy scheduling, my monthly blitz tournaments are always the last Saturday of every month at 1pm Eastern time.
About Me:
Did you know I recently crocheted one of the world's longest scarfs? My black and white beauty weighs 75 pounds and stretches over 500 feet! My dream is to find a public space, like a museum or airport, to display it and inspire others (both in chess and crochet!).
Another option I'm considering is partnering with a non-profit to auction my extra-long scarf. If it sells for $300,000, I'd be thrilled to donate at least 10% of the proceeds – that's a minimum of $30,000 – to support their work.
